Forklift Operator Training
Employees designated by their department to operate a forklift are to successfully complete a formal instruction and practical training program. Departments have a number of options to implement a forklift operator training program.
A forklift operator training program consists of:

- Formal Instruction (i.e., classroom)
- Practical Training (operating the forklift)
- Periodic Forklift Operator Evaluations (every 3 years)
- Refresher Training
- Training and Evaluation Records
