Ladder Safety

Portable ladders are one of the most frequently used tools on campus. They are used to perform many different tasks, from reaching overheard office supplies to accessing elevated work surfaces.

Use the table below when selecting the appropriate type of ladder.

NOTE: Maximum intended load is the total load of all persons, equipment, tools and materials.
