Asbestos Awareness Training for Employees with High Exposure Risk

If you are an employees who works in a construction, maintenance and operations, or custodial job classification, you must attend annual training that is lead by an instructor qualified to answer specific questions about how you may protect yourself from asbestos exposure in your work environment.  Asbestos awareness instructor-lead classes are provided by the WSU Department of Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S).  Usually, your department will be contacted by EH&S on an annual basis to set up training classes in which you may participate.  Please call EH&S at 335-3041 and you can obtain more information by talking to one of the asbestos-certified staff.
